Q: Will this work with my 2008 BMW CCC system?
A: This unit is designed for CCC iDrive systems 2005–2010. 2008 models with CCC and factory 8.8″ screen are usually compatible, provided they have the standard CCC hardware (DVD drives / proper connectors). 

Q: Do I lose original BMW functions after installing?
A: No. OEM iDrive knob / steering-wheel controls / original audio and camera systems remain functional. This retrofit preserves all factory features. 

Q: Is installation difficult? Do I need coding?
